The special operations vessel Petrel from the Customs Surveillance Service has transported a fishing boat discovered in the Atlantic with cocaine to the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The vessel was found in the north-western region of the Canary Islands, and the type of drugs onboard has not yet been established, according to sources involved in the inquiry.
The Petrel is presently approaching the port of Tenerife, where law enforcement personnel are awaiting its arrival, as reported by EFE.
