Yesterday, the Parque Marítimo served as the venue for the unveiling of the poster and the array of sporting and leisure events suitable for all ages, set to take place this Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., under the title of Fit Experience Fest. The event was attended by the Councillors for Education and Youth and Sports of the Santa Cruz City Council, Charín González and Alicia Cebrián; the Deputy Minister of Sports for the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Sabroso; and the CEO of Ideco, Manuel Gómez, as reported by the local Council.

This marks the inaugural edition of this festival designed for families, featuring a schedule that includes various challenges, sports activities, culinary experiences, and a variety of musical performances. The event has been organised with the support of the Santa Cruz City Council, the Canarian Government, and the Island Council.

The organisers announced yesterday that nearly a hundred athletes from across Spain, along with health and fitness influencers, will take part in a day filled with activities including crossfit, powerlifting, bodybuilding, Canarian wrestling, football, swimming, kickboxing, boxing, and MMA challenges, among other exhibitions and demonstrations.

All participants highlighted that the festival’s objective is to foster inclusion and diversity for everyone, “promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices through participation in different sports and recreational activities for all ages, in a central outdoor location in Santa Cruz de Tenerife,” stated the organising body.

Tickets

The event coordinator, Francisco Mederos, disclosed that entry to the festival, which is open to individuals over 14 years old, is priced at 12 euros and includes a non-alcoholic drink. Tickets can be purchased at www.fitexperiencefest.com. Furthermore, a VIP ticket is available exclusively for those above 18 years old, priced at 60 euros, which provides access to a chill-out area with an open bar (snacks, water, beer, and wine) from 7:00 p.m. onwards.

The Fit Experience Fest will also host various stands dedicated to nutrition, along with exhibitors focusing on barbering, hairdressing, tattoos, and sports massages, complemented by the presence of five food trucks on-site.
