An employee at a nightclub in the Tenerife municipality of Candelaria has been charged with burglary, having allegedly stolen the venue’s safe, which held 8,500 euros.
The Civil Guard announced on Friday that the individual being investigated for this theft is 27 years old and resides in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The inquiry commenced after the victim reported that his business, a nightclub in Candelaria, had been intruded upon and the safe containing 8,500 euros had been taken.
Officers pinpointed a likely suspect, an employee of the establishment who is familiar with the safe’s location, and the Civil Guard does not discount the involvement of additional individuals in the incident.
