Pedestrian Critically Injured in La Palma Hit-and-Run

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 15th August (EUROPA PRESS) –

An individual approximately 35 years old sustained serious injuries following a collision with a vehicle in the El Paso municipality, La Palma, as informed by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The incident took place around 2:30 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operations centre received a report of a pedestrian being struck, prompting the immediate activation of emergency services.

Upon arrival at the scene, medical staff from SUC attended to the injured man who had suffered a severe head injury. He was then transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of La Palma.
