A lorry overturning on the TF-5, close to Los Realejos, heading towards Icod de Los Vinos, on the island of Tenerife, has resulted in significant traffic congestion on the route, according to details provided by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place this afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m., for reasons that are still unclear.
Tenerife firefighters, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the Civil Guard have been deployed to the location.
1-1-2 Canarias has advised drivers intending to use this route to proceed with caution.
