Fortune smiles upon Tenerife once again, as a second prize from the National Lottery draw held on Thursday, 13th June, was won on the island, as reported by Lotteries and State Betting.

The second prize was won by the number 89484, which was sold at the El Bohío petrol station on the North Highway, awarding a prize of €6,000.

This prize was widely distributed, also falling in Las Palmas, Murcia, Pontevedra, Córdoba, Cádiz, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, and Jaén.

But not only did the second prize fall in the Archipelago, but a part of the first prize did too. Specifically, the number 68568 was sold in Las Palmas, Arrecife, as well as in Huelva, Cádiz, Alicante, Málaga, and Navarra.

How to Play the National Lottery?

National Lottery | LP/DLP

National lottery / E. D.

To begin, you must choose the draw you wish to participate in (there are always a minimum of 4 draws available for sale).

Next, you must choose a 5-digit number (tenth) to participate in that draw. You can either select the digits of this number yourself or have the system do it randomly for you, marking asterisks on the digits you do not want to select. You must also indicate the number of tenths you wish to purchase (between 1 and 10).

If you choose a specific number, bear in mind that this number may not be available for sale either because it has already been sold or because it is only sold through one of our Lottery Administrations.

The generated tenths are virtual (you will never receive a physical tenth, as these are exclusively sold at Lottery Administrations) but participate in the draws under the same conditions as physical tenths with the same chances of winning prizes. The only difference is that if you have purchased a physical tenth, you will need to present it to claim any potential prizes, whereas in the case of online play, you will receive your prizes just like with other games without the need to present anything.

The price of each tenth depends on the draw it participates in:

  • For a Thursday draw, each tenth costs €3.
  • For a standard Saturday draw, each tenth costs €6.
  • For a special Saturday draw, each tenth costs €12 or €15.
  • For an extraordinary draw, each tenth costs €20.

You will win a prize if your number (or any of its digits) is chosen in the draw within the prize distribution established for that draw: first prize, second prize, ending, approximation, refund….
