The judicial premises in La Laguna welcomed a new session of the “Justice Education” programme yesterday, organized by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands.

On this particular occasion, students from IES Geneto in the local area paid a visit to the judicial establishment. Approximately twenty youngsters aged between 14 and 17, in their fourth year of compulsory education and first year of a diversified curriculum, explored the facilities and observed court proceedings for minor offences at Investigative Court number 2, presided over by Judge Celia Blanco.

The enriching educational experience concluded with a tour of the building’s dungeons led by the chief judge of La Laguna, César Romero Pamparacuatro, and officials from the National Police.
