The Tenerife Government will demolish a rundown building located near Pico del Inglés, in the Anaga Rural Park, to proceed with the land regeneration and its integration into the landscape.
The constructions are situated at the end of the TF-114 road and constitute an attached property, on the east side, to the pedestrian promenade leading to the viewpoint of Pico del Inglés with an area of 348 square meters, as highlighted in a statement by the island corporation.
The demolition project involves an investment of around 98,000 Euros, is currently in the public domain, and once completed, it will proceed to be tendered and awarded for execution.
The actions will include the dismantling of structural elements and the demolition of all constructions and building components, such as pavements, buildings, and concrete structures, along with the removal of existing surfaces, loading, and transporting of the resulting materials.
Once the building is demolished, the land will be reshaped to restore its slopes, as far as possible, to their original state.
There will also be the spreading of a layer of topsoil and the sowing of ground cover to prevent soil erosion, and if necessary, the TF-PR2 trail will be reinstated.

The Tenerife Government emphasizes that this “essential” action in the Anaga Rural Park is being carried out to “restore the landscape and ensure people’s safety”, given that the mentioned infrastructure is in ruins, providing no service, and is abandoned.
