Elderly Gentleman in Critical Condition After Collapsing and Getting Hit by a Vehicle in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 12th April. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 75-year-old gentleman is currently in critical condition after collapsing and being struck by a vehicle in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.

The incident took place on Thursday afternoon on José Fonspertius Street in the aforementioned municipality. Upon arrival, personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) found that the individual had sustained a critical cranial injury and was promptly transported by medical ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.

Assistance from the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium was also provided at the scene to support the responding teams, along with officers from the Local Police who oversaw the necessary procedures.
