SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 3 April (EUROPA PRESS) –
The University of La Laguna (ULL) has officially opened the pre-registration period for the master’s degrees scheduled for the academic year 2024-25. This year’s process introduces two key updates. Firstly, the usual ordinary call and extraordinary call have now been divided into two phases. Secondly, a new provision for conditional admission allows final-year undergraduate students who meet specific criteria to secure a place early on, which will be confirmed upon successful completion of their studies.
Applications for the first phase of the ordinary call will be accepted until 30 April, with the list of allocated places set to be published on 15 May. In this initial phase, pre-registration is available for 23 out of the 37 master’s degrees offered, including different specializations within some courses that function as independent master’s degrees for registration purposes. Additionally, the 23 master’s degrees featured in this phase will reserve spots for students participating in the second phase.
The second phase of the ordinary call will be open for applications from 16 May at 10:00 a.m. until 14 June at 2:00 p.m., with places allocated for master’s degrees not offered in the first phase, as well as any remaining vacancies from the initial phase.
Due to high demand for certain courses, there will be two provisional lists for place allocation: the first list will be posted on 26 June and finalized on 8 July, followed by the second list on 15 July.
The extraordinary call will fill any remaining vacancies following the conclusion of the ordinary call. Applications for this phase will be accepted from 22 July to 5 August, with the provisional award list set to be released on 4 September and finalized, post-claims, on 11 September. A second list will then be published on 13 September, marking the conclusion of this process.
Language proficiency, generally English at a minimum of B1 level, is a requirement for all master’s degrees, with some programs demanding higher proficiency. Moreover, specific admission criteria may apply for individual courses, so it is recommended to review the access information on the respective master’s degree website. A mandatory pre-registration fee of 10 euros must be paid to complete the process, failure to do so will result in exclusion.
Existing master’s students continuing their studies from the previous year can enroll between 2 and 6 September.
