Tenerife is full of weekend activities offered by both public and private sectors to keep leisure alive on the island. Activities range from Easter events to sports and dance performances for the whole family over the coming days. Here are the plans for this weekend:
Dance
This weekend, the Guimerá Theater will host the dance performances Woman and Parallax, both exclusively interpreted by women. The first show, by the Rocío Pozo company, will take place on Saturday, 23rd March, at 8:00 pm, directed and choreographed by Rocío Pozo. Cristina Rivero, Carolina Eusa, and Marta Fernández will join her, with music by violinist Anabel Estévez, in a performance that beautifully portrays the feminine essence.
The second proposal, Parallax, by the Entredanza company, features choreography by Abigail Borges and Adriana Arvelo, among others, with original music by Milena Perisic. This piece explores the past and present of human evolution. This show will be showcased on Sunday at 7:00 pm.
