VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), 7th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
The head of the Cabildo of El Hierro, Alpidio Armas, declared on Thursday that the president of the Herreña Assembly, David Cabrera, is regaining his government roles after being removed several months ago due to a loss of confidence. He will once again hold the position of vice presidency along with responsibilities in Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing, and Water.
Speaking to reporters, he mentioned that Cabrera “consistently supported” the government team and although there were “disagreements” in the past, he believes the political situation has been “redirected.”
Armas is optimistic for a period of “peace and stability” during the remainder of his term, emphasizing that the government coalition composed of PSOE, AH, and IU-Reunir Canarias is expected to remain “strong” and capable of effectively “addressing” any arising issues through improved communication dynamics. This will prevent the need to resort to “extreme situations.”
