Outside the Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA), the stage is set, ready to illuminate the passion and talent of K-pop with the upcoming event “TecnoPlay”. Excitement is in the air as enthusiasts and dancers from all over gather in the Canary Islands from March 15 to 17 to celebrate the culture and art of movement, as stated by Carmen Pérez, CEO of the Development Society.

The “TecnoPlay” event will showcase a series of thrilling highlights starting on Friday, March 15 with the individual contest (Promises Category) at 5:00 p.m., featuring novice dancers and debutants aiming to make their mark in the world of K-pop.

On Saturday, March 16, the group competition will kick off at 6:00 p.m., where synchronization and creativity merge in a burst of rhythm and vibrancy. Teams will come together to create performances that will mesmerize the audience, showcasing the power of unity in dance, as explained by Mayor Pérez.

Sunday, March 17 will witness the K-pop Individual (Pro Category) and the Final Competition from 4:00 p.m., where seasoned dancers will showcase their skill and expertise on stage. The winner of Friday’s Promises category will compete in the Sunday’s Pro category, facing off against the best talent in the Canary Islands in a thrilling dance battle.

Concluding the “Tecnológica Santa Cruz – Grupo Canaauto” event, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has organised a free concert by the renowned musical group ATTI. K-pop enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in a memorable experience of music, dance, and infectious energy on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. as part of the “TecnoPlay” event.

Known for their vibrant style and love for music, ATTI will bring their energetic and captivating show to the “TecnoPlay” stage. With a charismatic presence and a repertoire of hits, the group promises an evening filled with emotion and unforgettable moments for all attendees.

From their catchy tunes to dynamic choreography, ATTI will electrify the stage with their talent and contagious energy, creating memories that will linger long after the lights dim. It is worth noting that all details regarding the innovation week can be found at www.tecnologicasantacruz.com where each activity and necessary information are outlined to ensure no content is missed, according to councilor Carmen Pérez.

“Tecnológica Santa Cruz-Grupo Canaauto” is organised by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Development Society and sponsored by Promotur Turismo de Canarias (Government of the Canary Islands), funded through the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, under the Next Generation European funds.

Grupo Canaauto lends its name to Tecnológica in 2024. They are the official dealers of BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and also of Jaguar, Land Rover, and MG for the Canary Islands, among other brands.

Furthermore, it is sponsored in the Gold category by Worten, Mutua Tinerfeña, El Corte Inglés, and Última Informática; in the Silver category, Hospiten, and in the Bronze category, Fuente Alta and the strategic partnership of the European University of the Canary Islands.
