Chamber Opera: ‘Lazarillo’

The Madrid-based company Teatro Xtremo presents ‘Lazarillo de La Laguna’, the latest opera by National Music Award winner David del Puerto. With a libretto by journalist Martín Llade, the opera portrays an adult Lázaro de Tormes reminiscing about his tough childhood.

Soplo de Letras Festival – ‘The mothers say’

The Soplo de Letras festival is hosting ‘Dicen las madres’ by Alejandro Palomas at the Teatro Leal. Palomas will take the audience on an intimate journey through his memories and the sense of helplessness following his mother’s passing in a poetic monologue.

Bianca Kovacs: ‘A very legal Romanian’

Romanian comedian Bianca Kovacs presents her show ‘A Very Legal Romanian’, addressing the prejudices she encounters and aiming to provide a different perspective on everyday life. With a successful career as an actress, currently hosting Las Noches del Club de la Comedia in the theatre, Kovacs will compare the societal biases with the actual truths.
