The municipalities of San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, and Icod de los Vinos have joined forces to promote the performing arts in the northern part of the Island. A meeting at the Ramblera Town Hall marked the first political-technical gathering of the Culture areas of the three city councils, with councilors and staff from each area in attendance.
During the meeting, authorities and technicians laid the groundwork for creating a unified performing arts agenda that will facilitate coordination among the three municipalities, preventing scheduling conflicts and ensuring continuous promotion and programming.
The collaborative agreement aims to enhance cultural activities in the region, providing a platform for the joint promotion of events and facilitating the sharing of ideas and support for initiatives promoted by the participating municipalities.
Besides the collaborative efforts, the alliance will also streamline coordination with the Culture area of the Tenerife Council, optimizing access to subsidies and participation in meetings and work sessions. The representatives of San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, and Icod de los Vinos have committed to rotating their presence in the upcoming meetings with the island Administration to ensure resource efficiency.
Following the inaugural meeting, the parties have established a calendar to continue their collaborative endeavors, transcending political differences for the collective advancement of Culture. The municipal governments of San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha, and Icod de los Vinos are committed to promoting initiatives in support of the performing arts.
