Authorities detain three individuals in a makeshift crack laboratory in Tenerife

Three men have been apprehended by the National Police for their alleged involvement in a violation of public health laws conducted in the La Gallega neighborhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, following home searches in which law enforcement discovered a home-based crack production lab. The authorities have stated that the narcotics were subsequently distributed within the local area.

The National Police investigators, in parallel to other ongoing inquiries, received information indicating that illicit substances were being sold at a small scale from a residence in the La Gallega neighborhood.

Prior inspections undertaken by law enforcement indicated that there were numerous instances of drug interventions involving crack in the vicinity of the said property.

Upon gathering adequate evidence, a police operation was launched which led to the arrest of three individuals by the National Police investigators. Subsequently, legal authorization was obtained to enter and search two residences in the aforementioned neighborhood of the Tenerife capital.

During these searches, investigators confiscated 600 euros in cash, 380 grams of hashish, 50 grams of cocaine, and 22 doses of crack, along with a home laboratory equipped with the necessary materials for crack production. Following interrogation, the detainees were brought before the competent judicial authority.
