SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 22 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 47-year-old man has been seriously injured in a collision with a car while passing through Vilaflor, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred this Sunday afternoon, on the TF-21 road, between kilometer points 66 and 67, as it passes through Vilaflor, a place where the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) traveled. Upon arrival, he found that the victim had serious multiple trauma and at the time of assistance he suffered cardiorespiratory arrest that was reversed.
Subsequently, after being stabilized, he was transported by medical ambulance to the municipality’s soccer field, where the medical helicopter landed and evacuated him to transfer him by medical helicopter from the SUC to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
Firefighters from Tenerife also appeared at the scene of the incident and activated the ERIE of the Spanish Red Cross due to their proximity, which collaborated with the services involved at the scene of the accident.
Likewise, agents from the Local Police and the Civil Guard collaborated with the intervening resources and carried out the corresponding procedures.
