SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Tenerife Children’s Park (PIT) received 55,506 visitors in its last edition, which took place between December 22, 2023 and January 5, 2024.
The counselor and vice president of the Fairgrounds, Manuel Fernández, celebrated “the great reception that, once again, this initiative has had, which, over time, has been confirmed as a benchmark space in the Christmas festivities of Tenerife.”
The PIT, he indicated in a note, “is a guarantee of entertainment and fun for thousands of Tenerife families since 1989 and about 250 people watched, every day of celebration of this event, so that everything went correctly.”
In his opinion, “the human team is fundamental for the success of initiatives of this type”, for which he thanked “the great work of the attraction monitors, the security guards, the medical staff, the cleaning service and the staff of the organization, who made the visitors’ stay in the park as pleasant as possible.
In this edition, the theme of the park was magic and it had 35 activities, including mechanical attractions, workshops, sports activities and theater, and among other novelties, the return of the House of Fear stood out.
By activities, the Ice Rink, the House of Fear and Climbing were the biggest attractions of the Tenerife Children and Youth Park (PIT), with the mechanical attractions being the ones that generated the most excitement among visitors.
Among the little ones, the Peque Parque, Master Infantil or the Súper Mario track were the most visited attractions.
The busiest days were January 3 and 4, when more than 6,500 visitors were reached.
Councilor Manuel also highlighted that in this edition they wanted to make the PIT “an inclusive space” so they received more than 400 young people from associations of people with disabilities in Tenerife as a “pre-opening of the park.”
With this initiative, he commented, “we seek to work from a transversal point of view, so that we can contribute to the construction of an increasingly egalitarian society, which guarantees the same opportunities for all people.”
