He Tenerife Council has deactivated this Monday the Island Emergency Plan (PEIN) after ending the wind alert declared for these last few days, however it has requested caution in the mountains, especially in the areas affected by the fire.
The aforementioned space, the institution recalls, has a risk of falling trees, branches and landslides.
Early on Sunday, the PEIN was activated preventively on the island due to the possibility of wind gusts exceeding 80 km/h in the areas affected by the fire.
The Cabildo assures that preventive activation implies express monitoring of the meteorological phenomenon, as well as that the island means and resources are available if their intervention is required.
In any case, the Tenerife Cabildo has recommended that the population take extreme precautions when traveling through the mountains and, especially, in the area affected by the fire due to the risk of falling trees, branches and landslides.
