The Court of First Instance Number 3 of La Laguna has dismissed the lawsuit filed by the councilors in the Tacoronte City Council Carlos Medina and Sandra Ramos as a consequence of their expulsion from the PSOE and absolves him of the motions made against him in said procedure and obliges the two councilors to pay the costs.

Medina and Ramos filed a lawsuit against their former party for having been expelled from it and from the municipal government where both held positions for disobeying orders and forming a government with Nueva Canarias and Sí se puede and not with Ciudadanos, as planned.

Both considered that their rights of defense and political participation had been violated and asked the Court to annul the resolution of the PSOE’s Federal Ethics and Guarantees Commission and order the PSOE to pay the costs of the procedure.
