SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 29. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Metrotenerife, the transport company of the Cabildo de Tenerife, has closed the special double tram device activated for ‘La Noche en Blanco’ in La Laguna with a total of 77,592 users, which represents more than 24,800 passengers compared to 2022 and an increase of 47%.
Throughout the celebration last Saturday, the demand trend was increasing until reaching 68,400 cancellations during the daytime service compared to 47,365 in 2022.
The period of maximum demand was between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. with more than 6,000 passengers, the company details in a note.
For its part, the tram service on the night from Saturday to Sunday exceeded the figure of 9,100 cancellations, around 69% more than those recorded last year.
In this case, the time with the highest number of travelers, with a total of 2,669, was recorded between 00:00 and 01:00 in the early morning of Sunday.
The special tram operation was carried out without any notable incidents.
