‘Le Good Market’ in García Sanabria park joins the extensive program of Plenilunio Santa Cruz activities

The García Sanabria park will host the initiative Le Good Market during this Saturday and Sunday in “Plenilunio Santa Cruz”. This was announced by the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, who explained that “this space will bring together a wide gastronomic offer and will be complemented by the traditional trend, fashion and decoration market and can be visited on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.: 00 to 00:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 to 20:00.”

In this way, Carmen Pérez explained that “on this occasion ‘Le Good Market’ will occupy the Blasco Robles, Borge Salas, Juan Marichal and Pérez Minik walks and as a novelty, the gastronomic walk will concentrate the proposal of salty and sweet cuisine with bakery and pastries located on the same walk, that is, in the Blasco Robles” and added that “in the central roundabout of the park, the protagonist will be the kilometer zero product, fresh and in bulk, from the Kome Local and Less establishments.”

“The park will present a very Christmassy decoration, with two giant nutcrackers at the entrance, acting as guardians, who will welcome people who come to enjoy this emblematic space, which will also be complemented with children’s games and live music. with DJs” explained Pérez, who highlighted that “it is one of the busiest points in Plenilunio Santa Cruz, given the wide range of activities it brings together.”

Carmen Pérez also reported that “85 exhibitors will be installed, of which 20 will be of sweet and salty cuisine and drinks” and added that “there will be food trucks and restaurants with a very varied gastronomic offer, among which stand out gourmet hamburgers and dogs, Peruvian food, Argentine empanadas, croquettes, crepes and Cuban sandwiches, as well as American, French and traditional pastries, coffee, mojitos and craft beers.”

As for the trends market, it will be located on Borge Salas, Juan Marichal and Pérez Minik avenues and will bring together commercial establishments and brands of contemporary crafts, design, fashion, natural cosmetics, home, children’s world and decoration.

Likewise, Carmen Pérez stressed that “in addition to combining a wide gastronomic offer in the García Sanabria park, Santa Cruz has a Product Club, which can be consulted at www.degustasantacruz.comand which brings together numerous establishments in the capital of Tenerife” and added that “events like Plenilunio Santa Cruz must have a quality gastronomic proposal, which is why we must remember that we are in the last days of the ‘Ruta de la Tapa Mar y Montaña’, which will conclude this Sunday, December 3.”

Other notable enclaves of “Plenilunio Santa Cruz”

The “Plenilunio Santa Cruz” event on Saturday, December 2, will also take place in spaces such as the Canary Islands Command Headquarters, located in the Capitanía Palace, and in the Almeyda Military Historical Museum, where numerous activities will take place.

Thus, the Captaincy Palace will remain open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and you can visit the central patio, which will house the photographic exhibition of the 300th anniversary of the Transfer of the Headquarters of the Captaincy General to Santa Cruz, as well as the popular Hall of the Throne. Likewise, Weyler Square will host performances by the BRICAN War Band from 10:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., as well as by the Canary Islands Command Music Unit, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Almeyda Military Historical Museum will offer activities from 12:00 to 22:00, among which the flag raising and cannon salute stand out at 12:30; the reenactment of World War II at 1:00 p.m.; the performance of the Municipal Music Band of the Santa Cruz City Council at 6:00 p.m.; and the reenactment of the English attack on Santa Cruz at 8:00 p.m. This program will be complemented with guided tours with period extras, in addition to the presentation of the video game “Tiger, Nelson’s Challenge” and the archery, airsoft and helicopter flight simulation spaces, among others.

“Plenilunio Santa Cruz” will take place in around twenty locations throughout the central area of ​​the city and will start on Friday, December 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., while on Saturday it will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. 00:00 a.m., and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. People interested in consulting the program of activities should access the website www.pleniluniosantacruz.com.
