Chestnut lovers have a plan this weekend in Tenerife

The Orotava welcome this Friday, November 24‘Tapas with Chestnuts’, an undisputed event for lovers of this fruit in which the festival of San Andrés is combined with the gastronomy of this time.

After the municipality’s Christmas lighting, the Constitution Plaza will count from 8:00 p.m. with a chestnut roasting stand with the Farmer’s Market, three wineries in the municipality, three restaurants and pastry spaces.

Different tastings of products made with chestnuts will be offered. The tapas will be priced at three euroswhile the desserts, the glasses of wine and the chestnut cone will be at two euros each.

Space for the little ones

The little ones in the house will also have a special area, where they can make their own pots and enjoy educational workshops related to the world of chestnut trees and pot making.

The Magec group will set the scene for the evening that will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m..
