A 66-year-old woman died today, Monday, after being rescued from the water in cardiorespiratory arrest in the natural pools of Alcalá, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1- 1-2.
The event occurred around 11:40 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing them that the lifeguards from the natural pools of Alcalá had rescued a woman in cardiorespiratory arrest from the water and were carrying out the first tests. aids.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), a doctor and a Primary Care nurse from the Alcalá Health Center, as well as agents, went to the scene. of the Local Police and the Civil Guard.
Once there, the health personnel continued with the resuscitation maneuvers, both basic and advanced, without result and confirmed the death of the affected person. The police services took charge of the proceedings.
