The agreed motion also includes starting the search for financing with other administrations to guarantee the budget sheet that allows for a quicker bidding and execution of the project.
Meanwhile, maintenance actions will be carried out in the space. In this regard, Cordobés explained that “the roots of the trees are causing some problems, and from the Works area we are going to make a plan to make recesses in the bulging areas and keep the plaza in the best possible condition until it is resolved.” “he can begin his rehabilitation.”

On the other hand, the plenary session also unanimously approved an agreement so that “citizen participation is guaranteed and promoted in the drafting of the future PGO.” In this regard, the plenary session “agrees to hold informative and participatory meetings in towns and neighborhoods, convened in an open and public manner to receive the maximum possible contributions.”
This was agreed upon by all the parties based on a motion by Unidas se puede, Drago Verdes Canarias and the PP, with an amendment from the local government (PSOE), and which included four interventions by neighborhood representatives who demanded greater participation in the current third phase of the action plan of the sustainable development model of La Laguna, starting point of the future PGO.
