Meanwhile, maintenance actions will be carried out in the space. On the other hand, the plenary session also unanimously approved an agreement so that “citizen participation is guaranteed and promoted in the drafting of the future PGO.” In this regard, the plenary session “agrees to hold informative and participatory meetings in towns and neighborhoods, convened in an open and public manner to receive the maximum possible contributions.”
This was agreed upon by all the parties based on a motion by Unidas se puede, Drago Verdes Canarias and the PP, with an amendment from the local government (PSOE), and which included four interventions by neighborhood representatives who demanded greater participation in the current third phase of the action plan of the sustainable development model of La Laguna, starting point of the future PGO.
