SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Two people have been injured by a knife in a fight that occurred this Saturday on Asturias Street, in the municipality of Adeje, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The injured are a 55-year-old man, who at the initial time of assistance had a serious stab wound to the abdomen, and another man of unknown age who suffered several moderate stab wounds to the chest.
The event occurred around 8:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received several alerts reporting that there was a fight with a knife on the aforementioned street with several injuries, so the Cecoes immediately activated necessary emergency resources.
Once at the scene of the incident, SUC personnel assisted the moderately injured man and transferred him to the Hospital del Sur. The seriously injured man went to a hospital on his own and from there he was evacuated by the SUC to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The National Police has taken charge of the investigation of the incident and the Local Police collaborated with the security and emergency services.
