The Santa Cruz Prosecutor’s Office Tenerife requests a sentence of 31 years in prison for a young man for sexually assaulting his two nieces, when they were under 13 years old, and showing them videos pornographic in the municipality of Los Realejos.
The summary, collected by Europa Press, indicates that the events began when the accused was a minor and took advantage of the fact that he lived with his mother in a house next to that of his sister and his nieces, so he took advantage of the fact that on many occasions minors were left in the care of their grandmother.
With one of the nieces, the attacks were committed mainly on weekends, even with the opposition of the minorto the point that sometimes he would drag her to his room, bite her, pinch her or pull her hair.
Furthermore, he told her that she had to obey him “at all times” and scolded him, saying that if the penetrations hurt, it was her fault.
Likewise, when the aggression ordered her to clean herself and wash well because if anyone found out what happened “they would rape her harder and she would know what real pain is.”.
During the attacks, the accused also uttered expressions such as “you have an ugly, horrible, shitty body, I’m doing you a favor because no one is going to love you with your body” and warned her that if she said anything “they were going to kill her.” disown her and leave her alone and they were going to blame her for what happened.
Following the continuous sexual assaultsthe minor was leaving the house when she observed her uncle approaching in a “desperate attempt” to escape, the Prosecutor’s Office highlights.
For this reason, the young man began to sexually assault his other niece, at least twice a week, with the pretext of going to play together in her room and telling her that he had to accede to her wishes because his sister “already did it” and If I didn’t follow him “it would be worse.”
The sexual assaults continued until the young man moved to live on the Peninsula.
As a result of these events, the eldest niece suffers symptoms consistent with a major depressive disorder and a stress disorder and the youngest, anxiety crises and problems in her relationships.
When both reached the age of majority, they filed a complaint, details the Prosecutor’s Office.
The Prosecutor’s Office considers that the facts constitute two alleged continuous crimes of sexual assault on a minor under 13 years of age and exhibition of pornographic material to minors and also requests the prohibition of communicating with the victims or approaching within 500 meters, the disqualification from any profession related to minors for six years and the payment of 25,000 euros as compensation for each victim – plus an additional 3,000 euros for the largest for psychological damage – and the expenses derived from medical and pharmaceutical treatments.
The trial will be held next Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Provincial Court of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
