A 37-year-old man has died after being run over by a bus while walking on the TF-1 highway, heading south, as it passed through Guía de Isora, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 11:09 p.m. this Wednesday, and members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were brought to the scene, but they were only able to confirm the death of the pedestrian due to the severity of his injuries.
Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium and the Local Police also arrived at the scene of the incident, collaborating with the emergency services, as well as the Insular Highway Center, which cleaned the road.
Civil Guard agents regulated traffic in the area and took charge of the body until the arrival of the judicial authority.
