The president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, today, Friday, sent a message of good sense so that citizens do not enter into the fire perimeter which in August affected almost 15,000 hectares of the forest crown, and which, he insisted, is still active.

Rosa Dávila has highlighted that in the perimeter of the fire there are more than 110 people who continue working intensely in the extinction workas well as in trail and road recovery work.

The president of the Tenerife Cabildo has stressed that entering that area It can endanger the lives of both those who do it without authorization and those who work in the area affected by the fire..

Rosa Dávila recalled that dangerous tasks are carried out, such as technical fires and tree felling, which will not be carried out if there is no “absolute” security that there are no other people in the area.

The president of the Cabildo of Tenerife has also recalled that the Civil Guard will sanction those who are reckless and enter the perimeter of the fire.
