SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, September 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands has approved at its meeting today, September 4, the appointment of José Manuel Sanabria Díaz as the new Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Executive of the Autonomous Community.
Graduated in Law from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), he has a doctorate in the Tourism, Economics and Management program of the same university and a practicing lawyer since 1993.
Technician in tourism businesses and activities, international master’s degree in Tourism, Sanabria is also an associate professor of Public Law at the ULPGC.
A public employee, he has been manager of the Commonwealth of Municipalities of Medianías de Gran Canaria since 2001 and between 2022 and 2023 he was manager of the Fuerteventura Tourism Board.
