A woman seriously injured after being run over by the tram in La Laguna

A 50-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being run over by the tram on La Trinidad Avenue, in La Laguna (Tenerife). At the initial moment of assistance, she presented serious multiple trauma, for which she was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital, as indicated by the Government’s Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2. from the Canary Islands.

The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Friday. A doctor and a nurse from the Laguna Health Center, located a few meters from the scene, attended to the wound until the arrival of the ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC).

Once at the scene of the incident, the SUC personnel continued the patient’s healthcare and transported her in the corresponding ambulance to a hospital.

The Local Police regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures.
