The municipalities of El Sauzal and La Matanza They are proceeding to evict the residents of the neighborhoods closest to the mountain. He tenerife fire It continues to advance uncontrollably despite the work of the emergency forces.

The General Directorate of Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands declares the evacuation of the neighborhoods of Baboseras Altas, Camino El Pozo, Lomo Piedra to Calderetas (from San Cristóbal street to the mountain) and La Vica, in the municipality of El Sauzal; in addition to the neighborhoods of La Vica and El Pirul, in La Matanza.

Evacuated people can go to the La Perdoma pavilion in the municipality of La Orotava. Likewise, according to the mayor of El Sauzal, the Paulino Rivero pavilion is being set up.

It joins the evacuations carried out today from the Pino Alto neighborhood, in La Orotava, as well as from the Camino de La Granja, Los Eres, Lomo Juan Lian and the access to Barranco de Añavingo, in the municipality of Arafo.

As reported by the regional Executive, this decision is added to the one adopted during the night to confine the entire urban area of ​​La Esperanza, in Rosario, as well as to evacuate the upper part of the Hondo ravine, Las Rosas, Los Apaches-Camino La Huerta, in the same municipality of El Rosario, and the eviction of La Resbala and Pinolere in La Orotava.
