A 62-year-old man has been moderately injured after being hit by a car on Avenida de Madrid, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The events took place this Wednesday, at 06:49 am, at which time the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2) received a call alerting about the event. The necessary emergency resources were immediately activated.
A basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) and the Local Police traveled to the scene.
The health personnel carried out the initial assistance to the affected person, who presented various injuries, for which he was transferred to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. While the Local Police took charge of the corresponding report.
