SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 29 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Canarian singer Josefina Alemán presents this Monday in Los Realejos her show ‘Historia de un amor’ within the acts of the Art Festival of the municipality of Tenerife, as reported by the organization.
It will be a concert that intends, among other things, to pay tribute to the thousands of canaries who had to emigrate to different countries in Latin America in the 50s and 60s.
Josefina Alemán herself was a participant in one of these stories, since her parents were one of those thousands of emigrants who are remembered in the concert and all of them are paid tribute in this show.
Accompanied by her usual band and the choirs by her daughter, Gabriela Suárez, Josefina Alemán will offer a repertoire of love and heartbreak songs in a broader format.
The show is complemented by the broadcast of images from the time and a narration that sketches what those years were like and that evokes those difficult times for thousands of Canarian emigrants.
