He Council of Tenerife will carry out improvements at the intersection of the highway TF-5 in the Cuesta de la Villa, which will require the closure of the link for a specific period. The works will be carried out from Monday, July 24 to Friday, August 25. During this time, access to Santa Úrsula will be through links 28, 29 (La Quinta) and 32, as reported by the island corporation.

The works on the TF-5 motorway will include earthworks, demolitions, paving and signage, and to carry them out, access 31 from the TF-5 to the TF-217 (link to Cuesta de La Villa) will be closed in both directions. However, the U-turn from the TF-5 on the link will remain allowed.

In addition, there will be an additional closure on the TF-217 highway due to the execution of the “Cuesta de la Villa” sanitation collector, promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Environment. This closure will affect the interurban section between PK 9+230 (at the intersection with TF-21) and PK10+820 (at the intersection with the branch to TF-5).

As a detour, the TF-21 island road (PK 0+000 and PK 2+720) will be used, and access to the residents of the area will only be allowed on the closed section of the TF-217. It is important to be aware of these temporary changes in traffic while the sanitation manifold and improvements are underway to ensure safe circulation in the area.
