National Police officers four men have been arrested between 24 and 36 years old, three of them with police records, as alleged perpetrators of a robbery crime with violence or intimidation committed in the area of Las Verónicas in Playa de Las Américas in Tenerife.
The events occurred a few days ago in the nightlife area of Playa de las Américas when a tourist was surrounded by four men who, taking advantage of the proximity, stole his luxury watch, valued at around 14,000 euros. When the victim realized and addressed them, they threatened to physically assault him.
The national police officers, after attending to the tourist and obtaining the physical description of the alleged perpetrators, managed to locate them in the Las Verónicas area. There, inside a parked vehicle, they found the stolen watch, which led to his arrest and transfer to police stations, according to the National Police in a note.
The detainees, after being heard in a statement at the police station, were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
