This weekend the hamburger show arrives in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

The car park of the palmetum of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be the stage that will host ‘Santa Cruz The Burger Show’ from July 14 to 16an event that fuses gastronomy and music in search of best burger of the Islands.

In total, they will be 16 the number of Canarian restaurants that will compete to present their best products at this new event in the chicharrera capital.

In a ‘one against one’, the jury will decide the winner of each round through direct eliminations until advancing to the final phase, in which the prize for the best hamburger will be awarded. The winning establishment will get a prize of 500 euros.

The jury will be made up of Marta Soriano, Fatness and Canary Foodies.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Beers brewery will offer a special collaboration that will feature the participation of two guest chefs that will add a special touch to the dining experience. Adrian Boschrecognized with a Michelin Star, will be present on Saturday, while Braulio Simancas will delight attendees on Sunday.

Hours and tickets

The event will begin tomorrow, Friday the 14th, at 6:00 p.m. and will last until 2:00 a.m. During Saturday and Sunday, ‘Santa Cruz The Burger Show’ will open its doors from 2:00 p.m. On the 15th, the event will end at 2:00 a.m., while on Sunday it will close at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are priced at four euros for general access, which includes an official glass of the event.

For its part, the price of VIP tickets ranges between 30 and 45 euros. This pass includes: an open bar in an exclusive area reserved next to the stage, the official glass of the event, bathrooms, private tables and benches, as well as surprises and gifts.

Craft beers and musical show

‘Santa Cruz The Burger Show’ will not only offer an exciting hamburger competition, but will also feature an outstanding display of craft beers from the Canary Islands and from different parts of the world.

In addition, there will be a vegan restaurant and another specialized in gluten-free products to cater for different preferences and needs. Likewise, there will be two spaces dedicated to the sale of sweets that satisfy the cravings of the attendees with a wide variety of desserts.

The event will also have the participation of renowned DJs who will animate the atmosphere. On Friday it will be the turn of dj Mito, Jessy la Ley, J Rodríguez and Jul Deejay. On Saturday you can enjoy performances by Eva Olvido, MCR, Roger S Morgan, Tana Sandoval and La Maldita. On Sunday, Santee, Álex Méndez and Mascareño will liven up the day. In addition, from Barcelona, ​​the exciting format of dj and drums, Serial Killers, which mixes songs by artists such as AC / DC, Ramones or Nina Simone, will be presented on Saturday night.
