Rosa Dávila unites experience and management in the second line of the insular government

They are not all who are, but they are all who are. For now. The part of Canarian Coalition in the government of the Cabildo de Tenerife yesterday appointed six island directors from three areas among the eleven defined as middle managers in the second line of the island executive headed by the nationalist Rosa Davila. Technicians with solvency, but above all with management experience to reinforce the organizational structure of the 20123-2027 mandate. Other appointments, among them those corresponding to the areas of the Popular Party – the other partner of the Hotel Escuela Pact – will be announced in the coming days.

A decree confirmed the appointment yesterday. Thus, in the area of ​​the President herself, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías will be the insular director of the Treasury. He has already worked with Rosa Dávila, although she will also directly supervise the task.

In the Presidency, Administration, Public Service, Territorial Planning and Historical Heritage, headed by José Miguel Ruano, Juan Manuel Santana has been appointed as Island Director of Human Resources, Public Service and Digital Transformation and Isabel de Esteban as Island Director of Territorial Planning and Heritage Historical.

In the Natural Environment, Sustainability, Security and Emergencies, with Blanca Pérez, at the helm, Pedro Millán has been appointed as insular director of the Natural Environment; Alejandro Molowny from Waste; and Iván Martín in Security and Emergencies. The island directors of Equality and Diversity, Strategic Projects, Foreign Action, Citizen Participation, Social Action, Culture and Housing will be appointed in the coming days.

The geographer Pedro Millán and the architect Isabel de Esteban were already on the CC list for the elections of the 28M. Juan Manuel Santana, for his part, is a man of the highest confidence of José Miguel Ruano, number 2 of Dávila, while Alejandro Molowny, an official of the house, knows his intricacies very well. Finally, Iván Martín was a councilor of the Cabildo de Tenerife in the previous term, specifically since November 2022 when he replaced Coromoto Yanes.

Juan Carlos Perez Frias

Technician of the Superior Body of Administrators of the Autonomous Community. Among many other positions, he was head of service of the Budget Office of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Security of the Government of the Canary Islands. He also had various responsibilities in the organizational chart of the Canarian Health Service (SCS). In addition to Managing Director of Titsa and Finance Coordinator of the Cabildo de Tenerife. Precisely, the Treasury, together with the president herself, will be his task in the island administration.

Juan Manuel Santana

This teacher held the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of Canary Islands for several years and has extensive experience in public management. But, above all, he has been a person of the highest confidence of the director José Miguel Ruano for a long time, who entrusts him with being in charge of Human Resources, Public Service and Digital Transformation.

Isabel de Esteban Ramos

Degree in Architecture (specializing in Building) from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Madrid. She has directed numerous projects and management of renovation and completion works, urban planning and land management. She was at number 24 on the list of the Canarian Coalition to the Cabildo and the lessons on May 28. Her responsibility: Territorial Planning and Historical Heritage.

Alejandro Molowny

Alejandro Molowny Lopez-Peñalver, an industrial engineer, has been Head of the Sustainable Development Technical Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife. Pedro Millan del Rosario

Graduated in Geography from the ULL. She was in 18th place on Rosa Dávila’s list and will take care of the Natural Environment. Mountaineer, climber, mountain runner, hiker, mountaineer and skier, as well as an environmentalist and disseminator of respect for the natural environment and the development of good practices in nature. He is the manager of the Fundación Canaria Santa Cruz Sostenible from 2012 to the present.

Ivan Martin Rodriguez

Graduated in Labor Relations, he was secretary of the former Sports Councilor of the Cabildo, Cristo Pérez, and belongs to the Santa Úrsula Independent Group (Aisu). He is a former councilor in his town and already, since yesterday, island director of Security and Emergencies.
