The new mayor of the Villa de San Juan de la Rambla, Juan Ramos Reyes (Canary Islands Coalition)delegated this Friday the areas of the government made up of the nationalists, the Popular Party and Unified Alternative of the People-Sí se puede (AUP-SSP). The president considers that the distribution of councils has been carried out taking into account “the best option for progress and development of the town for the next four years”, and they have been entrusted “prioritizing an efficient execution that facilitates negotiations with neighbors and with other administrations”.
Juan Ramos will occupy the Mayor’s Office, but will also be directly in charge of managing the areas of Urbanism, Local Police, External Relations, Communication and Cemeteries and Funeral Services.
Juan Agustin Siverio Gonzalez (AUP-SSP)assumes the first tenure of Mayor and will manage the areas of Energy Transition, Public Lighting, Local Development, Employment, Culture, Cultural Heritage, Waste Management, Sustainable Mobility, Accessibility, Education and Citizen Participation.
Jonay Mendez Vargas (CC) remains with the second tenure of Mayor and Public Works, Fairs, Celebrations and Pilgrimages, Sports and Sports Facilities, Parks, Agriculture, Municipal Works, Treasury, Internal Regime, Transportation, Traffic, Civil Protection, Commonwealth, Human Resources, Mobile Park, Maintenance of Public Roads and Warehouse.
Dolores María Rodríguez García, the only mayor of the PP in San Juan de la Rambla, will occupy the third tenure of Mayor and will direct Maintenance of Public Buildings, Commerce, Libraries and Study Rooms, Occupational Center, Equality Policies, Drug Addiction and Popular University.

Maria Garcia Diaz (CC) will be in charge of Nursery School, Youth, Social Welfare, Protocol, Playrooms, Seniors, Modernization and New Technologies.
Yanira Mesa González (AUP-SSP) closes the government group with the management of Water and Sanitation, Animal Welfare, Gardens, Public Forests, Environment, Municipal Heritage and Tourism.
