three political forces Canary Islands Coalition (CC), Unified Assembly of the People-Sí se puede and Partido Popularhave signed a covenant in order to ensure government stability in San Juan de la Rambla.
The agreement is based on the socioeconomic recovery of the municipality and in the commitment to provide stability, transparency and well-being to its inhabitants.
Likewise, it contemplates the promotion of a government program that defends the interests of the municipality against the planned layout for the completion of the insular ring, in addition to other measures.
The document specifies that the plenary agreement unanimously adopted on December 23, 2021 will materialize, in which a new route is demanded for the closing section of the island ring project as it passes through the municipality. This information is contained in a joint statement issued by the three political formations.
Within the agreed government program, the priority of promoting the preparation of a technical feasibility report for the installation of natural purification plants in mid-altitude areas stands out, with the aim of promoting natural purification actions in the municipality. In addition, the financing of initiatives that reduce the energy dependence of the municipality by 50% is contemplated.
The government will be headed by Juan Ramos (CC). The agreement has also been signed by Juan Siverio, from the Unified Assembly of the People-Sí se puede (AUP-Sí se puede), and Dolores María Rodríguez, from the Popular Party (PP).
