Fátima Lemes will be the first mayor from Aron to agree on PP, CC and Más for Arona

Fátima Lemes (PP) will become the first mayoress of Arona on the 17thafter the agreement reached by the Popular Party, Canary Islands Coalition and More for Arona. The nationalist Clari Pérez will be the first deputy mayor and Dácil León, from +PorArona, the second deputy mayoras reported in a statement by the three political forces.

The areas of the municipal government and the assignment of the presidency of the municipal boards “will be designated by mutual agreement, taking into account the profiles and experience of each of the councilors that will form the new government group, to achieve the objectives of the government program “.

PP, CC and +PorArona announced that they will work on what they consider “a government of stability and capacity to face the enormous challenges that lie ahead for us in the next four yearsso the will and the commitment is to jointly deal with the needs of the municipality”.

The opposition will be made up of the PSOE, with eight councillors; Vox, with two, and Nueva Canarias, with one

They affirm that the objective of this pact is to “work as a team, with transparency and consensus, counting on all the political forces that have representation, and that is characterized by freedom, respect and unity in the management of Arona”.

The Popular Party (5), Canary Islands Coalition (CC) and Más por Arona (4) have 14 councilorswhich configures a municipal government with an absolute majority that adds up to almost 10,000 votes. The opposition will be made up of the PSOE (8), Vox (2) and Nueva Canarias (1).
