CC proposes more funds to preserve the heritage of San Juan and San Francisco
The candidates criticize the lack of involvement of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Island Council in the conservation of the historic buildings of Telde
A historical heritage of great wealth, value and attraction that remains in the shadows, forgotten, almost unknown, without taking advantage of its potential. This is the situation of the historical complexes of San Juan and San Francisco in the municipality of Telde that this Tuesday have been denounced by the candidate for the Parliament of the Canary Islands for the island of Gran Canaria Pablo Rodríguez, the candidate of the Canary Islands Coalition for the presidency of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, María Fernández, and the candidate for mayor of Telde, Héctor Suárez, during the visit they made to these neighborhoods with the El Plan Gran Canaria bus. The nationalists denounced the lack of involvement of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria in the conservation of the historical heritage of Telde.
