A 79-year-old man has been accused of murdering his wife in May 2021 in the town of Los Cristianos, in Tenerife. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the old man’s version is false and alleges that he constantly harassed, mistreated and humiliated his wife. However, the defense asks the jury to take into account that the defendant is a man with an old and macho mentality, but that he cannot be considered a murderer or even an abuser.
