As she started to attack him, he picked up a pair of scissors and poked lightly into her neck. However, as she kept hitting him, he went to the kitchen and got a knife. The wife took refuge in the patio, but since the ground was wet, they both fell together and it is possible that at that moment one of the wounds was caused by the knife. The defendant does not know who caused the more than ten stab wounds found in the body.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the old man’s version is false and alleges that he constantly harassed, mistreated and humiliated his wife. The aggravating factor of treachery and cruelty is requested. However, the defense asks the jury to take into account that the defendant is a man with an old and macho mentality, but that he cannot be considered a murderer or even an abuser.
“fatal” marriage
The marriage experience is described as “fatal, the worst I’ve ever experienced, a real hell,” according to the defendant. He says that she manipulated her daughters to turn them against him and that when they argued, she would raise her voice and open the windows for everyone to hear. The defendant also claimed that she had hit him only twice with slaps because he was insulting her., his sister and his mother. In addition, her wife had conflicts with her sisters-in-law, of whom she said that one was a prostitute and the other a lesbian. “They sent more than me in the house, I had to go to the bar because that was a pitched war.
