The place to start the tour of an application that already has dozens of followers was the Botanical Garden environment, where the presentation of this app that is available for IOS and Android devices took place.
The objective of the experience is twofold: on the one hand, to value the biodiversity of this unique enclave and, on the other, its dimension as a laboratory for experimentation with new stories between culture and nature. Conceived to be accessible through this fully accessible digital format for residents and visitors, Quimera offers citizens and travelers the opportunity to enjoy them for free without interruption.
Likewise, it allows the routes to be carried out autonomously, since the verification of achieving or not each of the challenges is automated in the software. Likewise, each user decides when he wants to develop the activity.
Salas Mendoza, Fran Pazos and Sergio Rodríguez Estévez from Nomad Garden, as well as David Solís from Datrik Intelligence, are responsible for this application, which, in addition to being a playful tool, is a learning model where citizen science intervenes to collaborate in mapping the vegetation that exists in the municipality, making the game also serve to add to the collective knowledge of the environment.
