Clece has been distinguished by the Cabildo de Tenerife for its great involvement in the labor insertion of the most vulnerable groups, through the program neighborhoods for the Employment: Stronger together. The event took place at the Santa Cruz Fairgrounds and the work carried out by 39 other companies was also recognized. Canary Islands who have participated in this program.
Neighborhoods for Employment is an employment project launched by the Cabildo de Tenerife in 2015 and executed in a network by six entities, such as the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (FIFEDE), the Spanish Red Cross, Cáritas Diocesana de Tenerife, Don Bosco Salesianos Social Foundation, Sinpromi and the University of La Laguna, through its General Foundation. These entities, which have experience in employment programs with groups with more difficulties in accessing the labor market, execute the project Neighborhoods for Employment in collaboration with various Canarian companies, including Clece.
In the words of Luis Arocha, Clece’s Selection Manager in the Canary Islands, “We are proud to collaborate with the Cabildo de Tenerife so that people belonging to vulnerable groups can join the world of work with the same opportunities.” This recognition reaffirms the company’s commitment to promoting the incorporation of people with diverse realities. “At Clece we want to have increasingly diverse and inclusive teams”, added Luis Arocha.
The program of Neighborhoods for Employment offers comprehensive support for job placement to unemployed people and especially sensitive groups through the 27 service points open throughout the island. So far it has served 33,577 people, making it possible for 7,423 participants to find a job, with the participation of 1,156 companies.
