The La Arboleda Neighborhood Association of the Salamanca district of the capital echoed yesterday the complaint of several families who denounce that the delay of the Santa Cruz City Council in granting a license has led to their children having been without class for a month and a half, as the daycare in which they are enrolled is without electricity. Apparently, according to the association, the Anaga nursery, on Prosperidad street, carried out some works to increase the contracted power and normalize the nominal voltage from 110 to 240 volts, having practically completed the reform of the interior electrical installation.

However, they have not been able to connect to the electricity supply network, since, according to what Endesa tells them, the new connection to the daycare’s electricity supply is pending the obtaining of official licenses and permits, a procedure prior to the execution.

This license was requested on February 23 before the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council. In such a way that, once the set of necessary authorizations has been obtained, the execution of the distribution network extension works will proceed.

The La Arboleda Neighborhood Association requests the City Council to expedite the authorization of this license as soon as possible.
