Mayor Emilio Navarro officially presented this Thursday, March 30, in the central courtyard of the town hall, the soccer match between UDG Tenerife B and the current leader of the First Federation Iberdrola, FC Barcelona B, which will be played this Sunday, April 2, from 5:00 p.m. at the Municipal Soccer Field of Puerto de Santiago with free admission.
Accompanied by the president of the entity, Sergio Batista and by the first captain of the second team, Cindy García, the mayor “was proud that the municipality could host a game of this nature and against the best team in the category, such as the subsidiary of FC Barcelona Femenino and, in addition, invited the population of the municipality and the island to support our little warriors in a game in which so much is at stake. many years, so for us that this match is played here is essential to also give a boost to women’s sport”.
For his part, President Sergio Batista “only had words of praise for the mayor and the municipality of Santiago del Teide, where the doors have always been wide open for everything they need and did not hesitate to invite them to the entire population of the municipality to go to Puerto de Santiago this Sunday to cheer on and help the team that needs it so much”.

The presentation was also attended by the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos Gónzález, accompanied by different members of the government group and the players Aithiara Carballo and Giovaninha.
