Valido denounces the delay in improvement works on the Tabaiba coastline

The nationalist deputy and candidate for Canarian Coalition (CC) to the Mayor’s Office of El Rosario, Cristina Valido, denounced yesterday that the remodeling of the Tabaiba coastline has not yet started despite the photos of officials from the El Rosario City Council and the Government of the Canary Islands. Valido regrets that “few residents know about the project and do not understand that the information about it has not been shared with them,” as well as that “the neighbors demand, among other things, the installation of devices that allow gymnastics for the elderly that already exist in many other municipalities.”

For her part, and when the government group was asked about Valido’s demonstrations, the IR-Verdes municipal spokesperson, Fátima Gutiérrez, criticizes that after, “thanks to the efforts made by the mayor, Escolástico Gil, we have managed to 1.8 million for the Tabaiba front, after drafting a new project, which we achieved the support of Vice President of the Government of the Canary IslandsRomán Rodríguez, for its financing and that the Ministry of Ecological Transition has awarded the work to the public company Tragsa, now is when, to slipstream and as a weapon policyit is criticized that a project of this magnitude has not begun and that only the designation of the construction management is pending ».

“Those who are going to learn first-hand about the pros and cons of expanding the bathing area should have been informed,” Valido asserts. Regarding the imminent expansion of the bathing area in Tabaiba, the Canary Islands Coalition in El Rosario requests the City Council to “foresee and develop actions to avoid the problems that occur every summer on the municipality’s coast.” And he continues: “Tabaiba fears that the lack of foresight will produce the same traffic collapse and parking problems that Radazul, Bocacangrejo or Varadero suffer on beach days.” It also considers that “the need for a traffic management and parking strategy that guarantees the coexistence of visitors and residents has been demonstrated.”

For the candidate, “more public services are needed in the bathing areas that have been expanded and, of course, in those that are planned to be expanded.” She and she complete: “The growth of these areas to new bathers also requires an increase in police surveillance, security, cleaning and maintenance, as well as public toilets that adapt to this growth.”

“Twenty years in an official car”

Fátima Gutiérrez, who is also the first deputy mayor of El Rosario, states that “it is striking that someone who has been in the official car for twenty years and has never cared about the municipality of El Rosario, for which she never lifted a finger , neither in the Cabildo nor as a deputy, now she has realized that she has not started a work for which she It had been waiting for twenty years and was unlocked at the end of 2021 by the current municipal government led by Escolástico Gil, who also achieved the financing agreement.

Gutiérrez clarifies that “the arrangement of the Tabaiba coastline has nothing to do with the parking lots, which were in the public domain and, precisely for this reason, the 2006 improvement project did not go ahead, demonstrating, once again, that Mrs. Valido her total and absolute ignorance of the reality of El Rosario for which she never cared, except curiously now because she is a candidate ».
