SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 63-year-old man has died this Saturday after jumping from a truck while working on José Miguel Galván Bello street, in the town of Las Galletas, in the municipality of Arona (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 10:40 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert requesting health care for a man who had fallen from a truck, from several meters high, while he was working.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a basic life support ambulance, one sanitized and another medicalized from the SUC went to the scene; a doctor from the San Isidro Health Center, Local Police and Civil Guard.
Once there, personnel from the SUC and from the Health Center in the area assessed the affected person, who presented different traumatisms, and during the assistance he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. After practicing advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, his death was confirmed.
The Local Police secured the area and collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources. For its part, the Civil Guard was in charge of instructing the corresponding proceedings.
